Samsung, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer, has reportedly announced that starting 10th of September 2021, its latest foldable smartphones, Galaxy Z Flip3 5G and Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, will be made available in the Indian market at an initial price of ₹84,999.
According to credible reports, both smartphones will be made available in two colors, Phantom Green and Cream. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G will be offered in two models; the first one will have 12GB RAM+256GB storage with a price of ₹1,49,999, and another one will have 12GB RAM+512GB storage with a price of ₹1,57,999.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, on the other hand, will be available for ₹84,999 for the 8GB RAM+128GB storage model and ₹88,999 for the 8GB RAM+256GB storage option.
Through a statement, Samsung announced that consumers in India could pre-order the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G and Galaxy Z Fold3 5G from August 24 until September 9, 2021, through Samsung.com or other leading retail stores. The sale will be launched on the 10th of September 2021.
Moreover, the statement added that customers can book their Galaxy Z Fold3 for ₹1,42,999 and the Galaxy Z Flip3 for ₹77,999 during the pre-order period.
Aditya Babbar, the Director & Head of Mobile Marketing at Samsung India, claimed that the devices offer the perfect blend of cutting edge technology and unrivaled style, with numerous firsts such as S-Pen on a foldable and the first under-display camera, as well as IP certified water resistance.
With a resolution of 2208x1768 pixels (337 ppi), the Galaxy Z Fold3 has a 7.60-inch Dynamic Foldable AMOLED 2X primary display and a secondary 6.20-inch touchscreen with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display resolution of 832x2268 pixels. Both screens are covered by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and have a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's newest flagship Snapdragon 888 octa-core 5G processor and Adreno 660 GPU. It runs Android 11 with the OneUI 3.5 skin on top.
