According to the report Beyond 2020: Global Youth – Voices & Futures, presented by ViacomCBS , the impact of the pandemic on young people has radically changed their future prospects. Thus, 81% of those surveyed admit that they have been forced to interrupt their plans this year and 77% reconsidered their plans for the future.
Young people say that what has changed the most is their social life, their education and their travels, to which their mental health and finances are also added . It is necessary to emphasize that among its greatest concerns is the ethical sphere: social integration and climate change .
The survey highlights that in Spain , 57% of young people between 18 and 24 years of age affirm that priority should be given in the coming years to issues such as gender equality, 48% also consider it important to work in the economy and the environment environment, and 49% in racial discrimination and virus research and management.
